The EZ Track PTZ camera is one of the most innovative cameras in the surveillance industry. This high performance pan, tilt, zoom camera not only offers all the performance of cameras which cost twice as much but it also automatically tracks people and vehicles!
This break-through technology makes EZ Track Domes incredibly effective in protecting parking lots, storage yards, warehouses or any large area in need of hands free surveillance.
This feature is set for each camera with easy on-screen menus. Each camera is set to a "Home" position which provides a wide view of the area of concern. When movement appears, such as a vehicle or individual, the camera will lock onto the object and track it until the object moves out of the camera's viewing capability. The camera then returns to it's "Home" position and once again monitors for movement.
Up to sixteen EZ Track PTZ cameras can be supported on each system. The EZWatch Pro software allows you to manually control any selected camera as well as program customized tours for each camera. Pan, tilt and zoom with a click of your mouse button.
In addition to using the software controls you can also control and program multiple cameras using the AU40E joy stick controller. This control allows you to set custom parameters for each camera and can also be used to control and operate up to sixteen cameras. Both the Joystick control and the EZWatch Pro software can be use simultaneously to control cameras.
Each camera is easily programmed to perform as needed. The on-screen menus allow you to set the motion sensitivity, the auto tracking rules, the areas you want motion to activate tracking, and any pan, tilt, zoom limits you wish to use.
The camera is equipped with a low light video chip allowing the camera to provide quality video even in limited light environments.
This feature allows the camera to automatically flip the camera's view horizontally as the camera pans vertically. This eliminates upside down video as you cross the vertical mark.
The camera can be automatically panned, tilted and zoomed to a pre determined view upon the activation of an alarm input.
The camera can be set to automatically return to a "Home" position after a predetermined amount of time if the camera has been manually controlled to a different view.
Each camera can be programmed to run custom tours panning, tilting and zooming up to sixteen preset locations automatically.
The camera is environmentally sealed and equipped with an automatically controlled heater and blower. This assures the environment inside the dome stays at a reasonable operating temperature no matter what the conditions outside.
This clever feature allows you to "Blank Out" any section of a cameras view. This feature is very helpful if there are areas within the field of view you do not want a person to be able to view. Such applications include installations where the camera could be zoomed into neighbors windows etc. The blanked out area actually stays in ratio as the camera is zoomed in and out.
The motor is designed for precise movement. This makes the cameras performance extremely accurate when using the Auto Tour and Alarm Preset features.
This automatic feature controls the speed at which the camera pans and tilts based on how far the camera is zoomed in. The further a camera is zoomed in the slower the movement must be to provide accurate control of the camera.
Installation could not be easier. The quick connect features of the unit make it the easiest to install PTZ camera yet.
The EZ Dome can be set to communicate in several different formats. Including Pelco D and Pelco P protocols. This makes the camera compatible with almost every video surveillance system on the market.

PTZ cameras are programmed and controlled with either a joystick controller or software built into a DVR. The cameras are connected together with a two wire communication cable which is pulled from one camera to another creating a "Daisy Chain" of cameras with a maximum cable distance of 3000 feet.
Each camera is given an address so the system can control each camera independently. This is accomplished by setting dip switches on the camera to correspond to a specific camera number. Camera 1, Camera 2, Camera 3 Camera 4 etc.
The two wire communication cable is then connected to either a joystick controller and/or PC interface. The cameras can be controlled simultaneously with the joystick and the DVR software. Both units perform the same control functions with the exception that the joystick controller is needed for initial setup. Using the DVR software interface you can access the system remotely through the internet or a company's network and control the cameras remotely.
